As part of exploring some AI engines like Dall-E, Midjourney and ChatGP I wondered "what if I ask a AI to come up with an album cover for an fictional artist?"
So I asked ChatGPT to create a name and album title. From a list of names put multiple results together and so "Nina Nightingale - Midnight Melodies" was born.
I wanted to create an album cover for an black female soul artist, set in the 70s. The images above are some iterations from various prompts. After some tweaking the AI gave me the image below, used on the cover. I've used some Photoshop for the typography and made it look like an real album cover. Would you listen to this album, if it ever existed?
