2024 | Art-Direction | Concept Art | Design

within the LiveWall team I worked as a art-director for Campina's "Avonturen Boerderij" (Adventure Farm), a new digital brand experience launched to complement their popular Open Farm Days. Collaborating with Fitzroy and LiveWall, we created an engaging mobile game that educates children about farm life, healthy nutrition, and sustainability through interactive mini-games. This initiative significantly extended Campina's reach and reinforced their brand story. My focus was on establishing a cohesive and appealing visual style that guided players through understanding milk production, the value of a healthy breakfast, and farmers' contributions to nature conservation.

For the "Avonturen Boerderij" game, extensive style explorations were crucial in defining the character design. We researched diverse artistic directions to find the perfect balance – ensuring the characters were engaging and appealing to children, yet also true to Campina's brand identity.
The goal was to create relatable "Boeren Bengels" (Farm Kids) that could effectively guide players through the farm experience, embodying both fun and an educational spirit. This iterative process involved sketching, mood boards, and user testing to land on the final, vibrant character designs.

Achievement badge race game

The "Avonturen Boerderij" game features three distinct mini-games designed to educate and entertain. Players can race their go-kart and collect dairy packs in a thrilling mobile runner, or use virtual binoculars to spot plants and animals in an exploratory observation game. There's also a fun "slicer" game where kids cut falling fruit and nuts to create a healthy yogurt breakfast, all while learning about good choices. These diverse games offer an engaging way for children to interact with Campina's brand message.
